About

Homeschool Art Classes (6-13 yrs) A creative learning space for homeschooling families. Aligned with the NSW Visual Arts Curriculum, the program develops knowledge, understanding and practical skills in visual arts through meaningful artmaking experiences. Makers explore their own ideas while building confidence across a range of 2D and 3D art forms, including painting, drawing, printmaking, clay, sculpture, and mixed media. Throughout the program, young makers investigate artists, cultures and art movements from around the world, using these as inspiration to deepen their understanding of visual arts and develop their own creative voice. More than simply making art, Makers Lab encourages observation, experimentation, problem-solving and creative thinking. The program supports makers to develop technical skills, confidence and independence while creating work they can genuinely feel proud of in a supportive and encouraging environment. What to expect: - A specialist visual arts program aligned with the NSW curriculum, designed for homeschool learners - Small class sizes with individual support - Explore drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking and mixed media - Learn about artists, creative processes and visual arts concepts - Develop technical skills alongside creative thinking - High-quality materials provided in a supportive studio environment What's included: - All materials - Studio art apron - Expert tuition from a qualified visual arts teacher
